QQQ Adds $6.35 Billion Across All 101 Holdings on Oct. 13

Invesco QQQ Trust recorded $6.35 billion in net buying on Oct. 13, as the fund increased its position in all 101 holdings and reported no decreases. The broad buying matters because QQQ’s latest activity was spread across its portfolio, although Nvidia, Apple and Microsoft accounted for the largest purchases by dollar value.

The fund made no new purchases or full exits, according to holdings data reported by Invesco QQQ Trust. Its gross traded amount matched its net bought figure, and assets under management stood at $491.69 billion.

No holdings were trimmed.

QQQ buying led by Nvidia, Apple and Microsoft

Nvidia Corp was the largest purchase. QQQ added 2,311,407 shares for $528.2 million, lifting the stock’s weight in the fund to 8.32%. Apple Inc followed, with 1,399,806 shares bought for $477.7 million, representing 7.52% of assets.

Microsoft Corp ranked third by purchase value. The fund added 712,215 shares for $387.1 million. Micron Technology Inc saw 299,079 shares added for $285.1 million, while purchases of Amazon.com Inc totaled 1,034,379 shares for $267.5 million. The source said none of the five largest buys were new positions.

The purchases offer a snapshot of how the fund’s reported holdings shifted on Oct. 13, rather than a change in its roster of investments. For investors tracking QQQ, the distinction matters: the update showed increased exposure across existing positions, not the arrival of new companies or a full exit from any holding.

Technology dominates the fund’s allocation

Technology accounted for 59.3% of classified assets, according to the fund profile in the report. Communication Services represented 12.4%, and Consumer Cyclical made up 10.4%. The fund held 101 stocks, with 47.2% of assets concentrated in its top 10 holdings; all holdings were described as large-cap.

NVIDIA was the largest holding at 8.32%, followed by Apple at 7.52%, Microsoft at 6.1%, Micron at 4.49% and Amazon at 4.21%. The report listed an expense ratio of 0.18%, a dividend yield of 0.42% and a year-to-date return of 19.07%. It also gave QQQ a GF Score of 86, with a P/E of 28.72 and a P/B of 6.99.

The concentration in technology means the latest broad-based buying still sits within a portfolio heavily weighted toward that sector. Its allocation figures show where the fund’s exposure is concentrated, while the holdings update records activity for the date covered. These figures describe the reported portfolio and do not establish how the fund will trade in a subsequent update.

The source, GuruFocus, said investors should watch whether QQQ continues increasing positions or begins trimming them, and whether Nvidia and Apple remain the largest buys in its next update. The holdings changes were reported for Oct. 13, 2026, and covered US-listed stocks only.

QQQ’s expense ratio is 0.18%.
