PANGKALPINANG, JOURNALARTA.COM – Pemerintah Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung bersama Forum Koordinasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) menggelar doa bersama di Gedung Mahligai Rumah Dinas Gubernur, Minggu (31/8/25) malam.
Kegiatan ini dirangkaikan dengan shalat Isya berjamaah serta doa untuk almarhum Affan Kurniawan, sekaligus memohon keamanan dan ketertiban di Bangka Belitung.
Gubernur Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, Hidayat Arsani, menyampaikan duka mendalam atas meninggalnya Affan Kurniawan. Ia menegaskan bahwa peristiwa tersebut murni musibah, bukan tindak kriminal yang disengaja.
“Itu adalah takdir Allah, bukan pembunuhan atau apa-apa. Ini musibah, bukan ada suatu kesengajaan,” ujarnya.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Hidayat juga memberi pesan keras kepada masyarakat agar tetap menjaga keamanan dan tidak melakukan tindakan anarkis.
“Bangka Belitung yang terkenal dengan adat Melayunya, jangan coba-coba melakukan anarkis, pembakaran, merusak alat negara, atau penjarahan. Kalau sudah lari ke pidana, saya perintahkan Kapolda, tembak di tempat,” tegasnya.
Ia menambahkan, status keamanan di Bangka Belitung saat ini berada pada kondisi siaga 1 hingga 7 September 2025.
“Kami siaga 1, sampai hari ini. Kadang-kadang tidur hanya tiga jam. Semua siaga. Jadi saya ingatkan, bila ada kejadian bersifat anarkis, tetap kami tindak sesuai hukum,” katanya.
Hidayat juga menegaskan bahwa kerusuhan atau provokasi yang terjadi bukanlah karakter masyarakat Babel yang dikenal ramah dan menjunjung tinggi adat Melayu.
“Sekali lagi, Bangka Belitung jangan diganggu. Saya yakin ini bukan orang Bangka Belitung, pasti pendatang. Kalau pendatang, berhadapan dengan saya sebagai Gubernur,” ucapnya.
Selain itu, ia berpesan agar masyarakat tetap menjaga demokrasi secara sehat.
“Boleh kami dikritik, boleh dimarahi, tapi jangan coba-coba membakar alat negara. Demokrasi harus dengan tahap yang sewajar,” tegasnya lagi.
Menutup pernyataannya, Hidayat mengingatkan anggota legislatif untuk lebih berhati-hati dalam mengambil sikap dan keputusan.
“Saya harap anggota DPD Bangka Belitung berhati-hati. Ini pelajaran hidup. Mari kita hidup dengan pola sederhana. Kasus ini mudah-mudahan segera selesai baik di pusat maupun di daerah,” pungkasnya. (Zahwa)
