The Subsidi Tepat program was designed by Pertamina together with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to ensure subsidized fuel truly reaches eligible recipients such as MSMEs, public transport operators, fishermen, and other groups within the quota. Since 2023, consumer registration has been mandatory, and the policy remains in force through 2026.
What Is the Subsidi Tepat Program?
Subsidi Tepat is a consumer registration system for subsidized fuel types Pertalite RON 90 and Biosolar CN 48. Consumers who are registered and pass verification receive a unique QR code in the MyPertamina app. This QR code must be shown to gas station attendants or scanned at a special nozzle every time they purchase Pertalite or Biosolar.

Four-wheel and six-wheel vehicles with black plates must register. Private motorcycles are generally not required to do so, though they may still register voluntarily. Private cars with non-yellow plates are subject to separate restrictions based on the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources quota.
Required documents include an electronic ID card (for Indonesian citizens), vehicle registration papers, a front-view photo of the vehicle, and a clear photo of the license plate. The name on the ID card must match the name on the vehicle registration exactly; mismatched names are one of the most common reasons verification fails.
How to Register on the Website
Go directly to subsiditepat.mypertamina.id. Click the “Register Now” button, then enter an active mobile number to receive an OTP code.
After logging in, fill in your personal data: ID number and full name. The system will automatically match the data with the Dukcapil database. Upload photos of your ID card, vehicle registration front and back, and a vehicle photo with a clearly readable license plate.
The next step is to enter vehicle details such as type, brand, year of manufacture, license plate number, and engine capacity. After submitting, wait for a notification via SMS or WhatsApp. Verification usually takes 1-7 business days.
If approved, the QR code will appear in the Subsidi Tepat menu in the MyPertamina app.
How to Register in the MyPertamina App
Download the MyPertamina app from the Play Store or App Store. Log in or create an account using the same mobile number. On the home page, find the “Subsidi Tepat” banner or menu and follow the same steps as on the website: upload documents, fill in vehicle data, and wait for verification.
Registration status can be monitored directly from the Subsidi Tepat menu inside the app. It is practical and does not require opening a separate browser.
Failed Verification? What to Do
A failed verification is not the end. Check the SMS or email notification to find out why it was rejected. The most common reasons are blurry photos, unreadable license plates, or a mismatch between the name on the ID card and the vehicle registration.
Fix the documents, then submit again. There is no limit on how many times you can reapply.

Tips to Pass Verification Faster
Photo quality is the key factor. Make sure ID card and vehicle registration photos are sharp, not blurry, and not cut off. Use an active phone number because the OTP will be sent there, and verification results will also be delivered through the same channel.
Also make sure the data entered is correct, especially the ID number and the name exactly as printed on the physical ID card. Even one different character can trigger an automatic rejection.
