Airport Closures and Passenger Guidance
State-owned airport operator InJourney Airports announced temporary suspensions for Soekarno-Hatta, Halim Perdanakusuma, Radin Inten II, and Husein Sastranegara, initially effective through Monday night, Sept. 7, at 11:59 p.m. These measures underscore the risks posed to jet engines, which are highly sensitive to volcanic debris.
