Palworld version 1.0 launched on 10 July 2026, ending the Early Access period that began in 2024. Pocketpair released the official Palworld 1.0 launch trailer through the Pocketpair Palworld YouTube channel on 9 July.
The release is now available rather than approaching launch. The official trailer description directs players to Palworld’s Steam, Xbox, PlayStation and macOS listings. Pocketpair’s accompanying announcement confirms the 10 July release date and identifies the video as the official launch trailer.
Sunreach and the World Tree expand the map
Pocketpair’s official version 1.0 changelog introduces Sunreach, a group of islands floating above Palpagos. The new region contains additional Pals, tower bosses and ores that require specialized equipment.
The World Tree becomes a major story destination and late-game challenge. Pocketpair says the route through Palpagos, its tower battles and the World Tree has been reorganized into a more connected story flow. New sub-missions, characters and journals provide further information about the setting.
Seven smaller islands have been added across volcano, desert and ruins biomes. The wider map now includes Ancient Ruins, Watchtowers, settlements and enemy positions at sea. Watchtowers reveal nearby areas and can serve as fast-travel points.
Version 1.0 adds 72 Pals
The release adds 47 new Pals and 25 variants, bringing Pocketpair’s stated total to 287. Pal habitats and spawn levels have been revised across the world, while the player level cap has increased from 65 to 80.
Awakening provides a new way to strengthen Pals with Radiant Gems collected at the World Tree. Mutation gives breeding a chance to produce a Pal with higher statistics and a unique passive skill. Pocketpair has also revised Partner Skills for more than 200 Pals and expanded work-suitability progression.
Capture Bonus requirements have been reduced from 12 captures to five. The number of Pals required to reach the maximum condensation rank has fallen from 116 to 48. Existing Pals receive new motions, revised riding behavior and changes to combat or base-work functions.
Combat, equipment and building changes
Version 1.0 revises player movement, dodging, weapon handling and Pal active skills. Tower Boss arenas now have distinct designs, while some bosses receive new movements and abilities. The update also adds a direct command that lets players order a Pal to attack a selected enemy.
New equipment includes the Wing Pack, which uses Wing Cells for independent flight, and the Plasma Multicutter for gathering wood and ore. Pocketpair lists 13 new weapons, 44 accessories, additional armor and two new ores called Soralite and Paloxite.
Building receives aquatic construction for bases along shorelines and at sea. New structural pieces, furniture and utility buildings expand base design. Storage, crafting searches, Pal assignments and resource handling have been revised to reduce repetitive management.
Multiplayer and save-data guidance
Dedicated servers can enable in-game voice chat. Guilds receive additional roles and configurable permissions, while in-game chat gains safety and history improvements. Discord account linking is available on the Steam and Mac versions.
Pocketpair says existing save data can continue into version 1.0, although the developer recommends beginning with a new character to experience the revised progression. Players using mods are advised to remove incompatible files and back up important saves because outdated modifications may cause crashes or data corruption.
The launch trailer offers a concise visual introduction, while the official changelog provides the verified account of what changed. Together, they establish version 1.0 as Palworld’s completed exit from Early Access on 10 July 2026.
