Shares of Enphase Energy Inc. (ENPH), Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN) and Boeing Co. (BA) fell to 52-week lows on Wednesday, according to a StockTwits report published by Yahoo Finance. Weak earnings and Wall Street caution weighed on all three. So, did ENPH, OPEN stocks open the day already under pressure? The sharpest damage came at the close, when Enphase fell 16%.
Enphase's third-quarter (Q3) results missed Wall Street expectations, and the company gave a cautious outlook. Opendoor slipped 0.26% after a price target cut from UBS. Boeing fell 0.55% after mixed results that included a record backlog, slower 737 production targets and a commercial segment loss.
Enphase drops to a six-year low
ENPH touched a 52-week low of $23.83, its lowest level in six years. The solar energy company posted revenue of $293.3 million, up marginally from the previous quarter but below analyst estimates. Adjusted earnings came in at $0.41 per share, also under consensus.
The core residential solar market declined because of higher interest rates and expiring federal tax credits. The company said AI demand is growing.
Analysts moved quickly. Several lowered their price targets after the release, and Roth Capital and Oppenheimer downgraded the stock alongside their cuts. On Stocktwits, retail sentiment slipped from 'extremely bullish' to 'bullish' over 24 hours. The stock has slumped 22% in 2026.
Opendoor faces a housing slowdown
OPEN fell to a 52-week low of $1.83, putting it on track for a sixth consecutive month of declines. A sharp slowdown in the U.S. housing market, higher borrowing costs and delays in reaching profitability have weighed on the shares.
UBS cut its price target on Opendoor to $2 from $4.50 and kept a 'Neutral' rating. The analyst said weaker housing conditions raise uncertainty over both the timing and size of profitability.
Retail sentiment on OPEN was 'bearish' when the report was written. Shares have plunged more than 67% year-to-date. Opendoor will post Q3 results next week, which may give clues on where the company is headed.
Boeing tied down by production delays
BA hit a 52-week low of $165.01 as a widening loss and delays in stabilizing aircraft production hurt investor sentiment. Boeing reported its third-quarter results on Tuesday, with an overall net loss of $116 million. Revenue of $24.188 billion was up 4% from the same quarter a year earlier.
On the earnings call, CEO Robert Ortberg laid out a path to $10 billion in free cash flow by 2029. He said stabilizing 737 production would take longer than expected. Boeing expects to reach its target rate of 47 jets monthly in 2027, with cash flow improving over the next three years.
Retail sentiment on BA fell from 'extremely bullish' to 'bullish' over 24 hours. The shares are down 23% this year. Opendoor's Q3 report next week is the next scheduled test for the group.
