Price Differences in Palembang and South Sumatra

People outside Java Island, including the Palembang area of South Sumatra, should note the price gap. Logistics factors and the Regional Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBBKB) mean that prices in South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung, and Lampung differ slightly from those in DKI Jakarta.

For example, Pertamax in Palembang is priced at Rp16,650 per liter, while in Jakarta it is Rp16,250 per liter. Similar adjustments also apply to Pertamax Turbo, which is priced at Rp19,750 per liter in Palembang, while Dexlite is sold at Rp20,150 per liter.
