Disney+ released the final two episodes of A Shop for Killers Season 2 on Aug. 12, 2026, closing the Korean action-thriller’s second run with episode 7 and episode 8. The season ends with the rescue attempt for Jeong Ji-an, who is abducted by the organization Babylon.
The series, adapted from a novel by Kang Ji-young, once again stars Lee Dong-wook as Jeong Jin-man and Kim Hye-jun as Ji-an. The conflict remains centered on Jin-man’s fight with Kusanagi Jin, the leader of Babylon’s East Asia branch, after a secret server is hacked and Ji-an becomes a target.
Disney+ also highlighted the warmer side of Murthehelp
Alongside the finale, Disney+ released a fresh set of stills from the second season. This time, the focus was not on gunfire or chase scenes. It was on the quieter moments that show the chemistry inside Murthehelp.
One image shows Jin-man watching Ji-an as she grills meat with the team. His expression is soft. There is pride there, the kind that suggests the niece he once protected is now stepping into leadership herself.
Another still captures the easy rapport between Min Hye, played by Geum Hae Na, and Ji-an after training. Min Hye is described as a strong partner who also feels like an older sister to Ji-an.
Brother, played by Lee Tae Young, also adds to Murthehelp’s dynamic. Two new members have joined the season as well, although their full identities were not detailed in the available material.
Why the new season matters beyond Korea
For Disney+, the show’s performance gives another sign of how Korean genre series continue to travel well across Asian markets. According to FlixPatrol, A Shop for Killers Season 2 reached No. 1 in the Disney+ TV show category in South Korea and Taiwan.
