Nvidia’s AI Agent Breakthrough Adds Fuel to Bullish Stock Forecasts

Nvidia’s shares carry a striking market wager: some Wall Street price targets reach $743, more than three times the $205 share price cited in recent coverage. A new research result offers another reason for investor optimism, though it does not settle whether the stock can reach that level.
The company’s Agentic Variation Operators (AVO) system scored 100% on the public set of ARC-AGI-3, an interactive reasoning benchmark, completing all 183 levels across 25 environments. The result underscores a broader shift in AI development: performance on extended tasks can depend on how an agent uses memory, tools and feedback, not just on the underlying model.
Agent system pushes model score higher
Nvidia said its research project lifted Claude Opus 5 from a 30% model baseline to a perfect score when deployed as part of the full AVO system. The agent completed the benchmark using about 12% fewer environment actions than VISTA, which used the same underlying model.
AVO combines persistent memory with supervisory intervention to keep autonomous systems working through long tasks. In a separate test, the system ran for seven days on DGX B200 computers to optimize attention kernels. It explored more than 500 approaches and produced kernels that outperformed cuDNN by up to 3.5% and FlashAttention-4 by up to 10.5%.
The results are relevant to Nvidia’s business as AI workloads expand beyond training toward inference and agentic applications. Its next-generation Vera Rubin platform, described in source material as being in full production, is designed for those workloads and is expected to begin shipping in the coming months.
Ambitious targets meet a historic valuation
Recent coverage put Nvidia’s market capitalization at about $5 trillion, with shares around $205 after stock splits. A $743 price target would imply a valuation above $15 trillion, an unprecedented scale. The sources do not identify the analysts behind the highest target or establish how likely it is to be reached.
Nvidia’s second-quarter fiscal 2027 results provide a measure of the demand driving expectations. Revenue reached $96.2 billion, up 106% from a year earlier, while adjusted earnings per share were $2.22 and gross margin was 75%. The company also committed to procuring as much as $160 billion in memory, including through a supply agreement with SK hynix.
Chief Executive Jensen Huang said AI had reached an inflection point. The AVO benchmark adds a technical milestone to that argument: a score of 100% across all 25 public environments.
