Ariana Grande shares PDA-filled photos with Ricky Alvarez in a social media gallery posted on Monday, Nov. 2, alongside another look at her new bob hairstyle. The images show the singer embracing Alvarez and kissing him on the forehead, following the couple’s appearance at the New York City Marathon.
The gallery opens with Grande and Alvarez gazing at each other amid greenery. Other pictures offer a closer view of the singer’s sleek bob, including a side view with a playful swoop just above her shoulders and a sideways selfie paired with a white ribbon choker.
Grande captioned the post with a white heart emoji and three exclamation marks. She also shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of hairstylist Brandon Pietsch appearing to wash her hair.
A fresh look.
Grande first debuted the bob in late October. The new gallery gives fans another view of the cut while placing it alongside affectionate moments with Alvarez, rather than presenting the hairstyle in a standalone portrait.
What did Ariana Grande share with Ricky Alvarez?
Grande posted photos of the couple together, including an embrace and a kiss on Alvarez’s forehead. The same gallery included bob-hairstyle images and a glimpse of her hair being washed.
Actress Rachel Zegler praised the hairstyle in the comments, writing, “The bob is everything mommy.” Grande’s brother, Frankie Grande, also responded: “Cute happy girlie pop! I love you so!”
Jeff Goldblum joined the comment thread with a series of revolving heart emojis. Grande shared a photo holding Enthousiasmos, a culture magazine whose third issue features Goldblum, her Wicked co-star. The two became friends while filming the movies and later collaborated on Goldblum’s 2025 album, Still Blooming.
How did Grande and Alvarez support marathon runners?
The couple appeared at the New York City Marathon on Sunday, Nov. 1, cheering on runners. Influencer Ella Schweiger approached them to ask for an encouraging note for a stranger who had completed the 26.2-mile race.
Grande wrote “You did it!” with a few hearts, then signed the message “Ari + Ricky.” Schweiger later shared video of the encounter on Instagram, including the runner’s reaction when the note was delivered.
The moment offered a small public glimpse of the couple’s day at the race. For the runner, the note turned a finish-line achievement into a personal message from Grande and Alvarez; for fans, it connected the affectionate photos to their recent outing in New York.
Grande is preparing for the release of Focker-in-Law, which opens in theaters on Nov. 25. She announced in early August that she was taking “a step back” from public engagements amid “ongoing public scrutiny,” and dropped out of the planned West End revival of Sunday in the Park With George, where she was set to co-star.
Her recent music releases include petal, her eighth studio album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in July. In early September, she surprise-released petal (The Complete Live Album), featuring performances of every track from the studio album.
The new photos keep the focus on Grande’s hairstyle and her time with Alvarez, while her next scheduled screen appearance for audiences is Focker-in-Law, opening Nov. 25.
