Pertamina Fuel Prices Today, July 3, 2026: Pertalite, Biosolar
Check Pertamina fuel prices on July 3, 2026: Pertalite and Biosolar stay unchanged, while Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex drop in Palembang and Jabodetabek.

PALEMBANG, JOURNALARTA.COM — Pertamina fuel prices fell starting July 1, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. local time. The adjustment applies to non-subsidized fuels, while Pertalite and Biosolar remain at the old prices.

The impact is immediately felt in regions with different PBBKB rates, including South Sumatra. Consumers in Palembang will see prices that differ from Jabodetabek, even though the type of fuel sold is the same. The gap comes from the local tax component.

Pertamina fuel prices fall, here’s why they were adjusted

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga said the price adjustment took effect on July 1, 2026. Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Communication VP Kitty Andhora said the policy follows a periodic evaluation based on global oil prices, government formulas, and public purchasing power conditions.

During this period, global oil prices did indeed move lower than the previous month. In the material received by the newsroom, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was recorded at around US$71.533 per barrel, while Brent stood at US$74.835 per barrel as of June 2026.

Pertamina also adjusted non-subsidized fuel prices to remain competitive in the market. This move is usually most noticeable in fuel types with higher octane and cetane content, such as Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex.

Pertamina fuel prices in Palembang

For the Palembang area of South Sumatra, which falls under the 5% PBBKB category, Pertamina fuel prices were recorded as follows:

Fuel type June 2026 old price New price July 3, 2026 Change
Pertalite RON 90 Rp10,000 Rp10,000 Unchanged
Pertamax RON 92 Rp12,600 Rp12,600 Unchanged
Pertamax Green 95 Rp12,900 Rp12,900 Unchanged
Pertamax Turbo RON 98 Rp21,200 Rp19,750 Down Rp1,450
Dexlite CN 51 Rp23,500 Rp20,150 Down Rp3,350
Pertamina Dex CN 53 Rp25,350 Rp21,650 Down Rp3,650
Biosolar Subsidized Rp6,800 Rp6,800 Unchanged

The biggest change was in Pertamina Dex, which fell by Rp3,650 per liter. Dexlite followed with a Rp3,350 per liter drop. Pertamax Turbo also edged down by Rp1,450 per liter.

Even so, prices in Palembang remain different from other regions. That is because each area has a different motor fuel tax rate. In South Sumatra, the PBBKB rate used is 5%, while the national comparison cited by Pertamina uses Jabodetabek as a reference with the same tax basis but a different final price structure due to regional factors.

National price comparison and the impact on consumers

For the Jabodetabek area, Pertamina fuel prices on July 3, 2026 were recorded as follows:

Fuel type New price July 3, 2026 Note
Pertalite Rp10,000/L Subsidized, unchanged
Pertamax RON 92 Rp16,250/L Unchanged since June 10
Pertamax Green 95 Rp17,000/L Unchanged
Pertamax Turbo RON 98 Rp19,300/L Down Rp1,450
Dexlite CN 51 Rp19,700/L Down Rp3,300
Pertamina Dex CN 53 Rp21,150/L Down Rp3,650
Biosolar Subsidized Rp6,800/L Subsidized, unchanged

For motorists, the adjustment means fuel-ups may be a little lighter on the wallet, especially for diesel vehicle users or high-octane gasoline drivers. For business fleets, logistics deliveries, and operational vehicles, a difference of a few hundred to several thousand rupiah per liter will be felt in monthly expenses.

Pertamina President Commissioner Mochamad Iriawan was also said to have urged management to lower non-subsidized fuel prices since June. The push aligns with the need to maintain price competitiveness amid a still-fluctuating energy market.
