How to Register for DTSEN 2026 for PKH and BPNT

Cara Daftar DTSEN 2026: Syarat Masuk Desil 1–4 Agar Berhak Terima Bansos PKH & BPNT
JAKARTA, JOURNALARTA.COM – The government, through the Social Affairs Ministry, has officially replaced the social assistance database from DTKS to DTSEN starting in 2026. This new system will be the main reference for aid such as PKH, BPNT, and the government-paid BPJS Health contribution (PBI-JKN).

JAKARTA, JOURNALARTA.COM – The government, through the Social Affairs Ministry (Kemensos), has officially replaced the social assistance database from DTKS (Integrated Social Welfare Data) with DTSEN (National Social and Economic Single Data) starting in 2026. This database will serve as the sole official reference for distributing aid such as PKH, BPNT, and the government-paid BPJS Health contribution (PBI-JKN).

That matters for millions of families. Only households ranked in Desil 1 through 4 have a real chance of receiving assistance. If a family is not registered, or falls outside those groups, the odds of getting aid drop sharply.

What DTSEN means and why it replaces DTKS

DTSEN is the latest data system that combines population, economic, and social information from multiple ministries and institutions. The goal is simple: make aid distribution more accurate, more accountable, and less prone to overlapping records.

The main differences:

  • DTKS: based only on data proposed by villages and urban wards.
  • DTSEN: combines data from Civil Registry, taxation, asset ownership, electricity consumption, and field verification, so the picture is more precise.
  • Desil: a division of 10 welfare groups, where Desil 1 is the most in need and Desil 10 is the most financially secure.

For residents, this shift means one thing: local reports alone are no longer enough. The system now cross-checks several data points before deciding whether a household belongs in the lower-desil groups.

Requirements to enter Desil 1-4 and qualify for aid

To be recorded in DTSEN and meet the basic criteria, applicants must generally satisfy the following conditions:

1. Be an Indonesian citizen and have a valid Family Card (KK) and electronic ID card (KTP-el).

2. Have low or irregular income, below the local poverty threshold.

3. Not own excessive assets: no luxury motor vehicles, no large house, and no extensive farmland.

4. Not be registered as a civil servant, military or police member, or a retiree with a high fixed income.

5. Have a clear home address recorded in the Civil Registry.

Not everyone who registers will automatically enter Desil 1-4. The system will run automatic verification and assess household welfare levels.

That is the part many people miss. Registration opens the door, but it does not guarantee approval. The final result still depends on the data match.

How to register for DTSEN 2026 online and offline

Registration is free of charge. Do not pay anyone who promises to “help” enter the system faster.

Online registration via phone

This can be done anytime through the official app:

1. Download the Cek Bansos app from Google Play Store or the App Store.

2. Open the app and choose the Daftar Usulan menu.

3. Fill in personal data completely: NIK, Family Card number, full name, and address as listed on the ID card.

4. Upload supporting documents: KTP, KK, and a photo of the house or living place.

5. Tap Kirim and wait for verification, which usually takes 7-14 working days.

Offline registration

For people who have limited phone or internet access:

1. Go to the village office, urban ward office, or subdistrict office where you live.

2. Bring a photocopy of your electronic ID card and Family Card.

3. Fill out the registration form provided by the officer.

4. The officer will input the data into the DTSEN system.

5. Keep the registration proof that is handed over.

Documents to prepare

  • Electronic ID card (KTP-el)
  • Latest Family Card (KK)
  • Certificate of hardship from the neighborhood head if requested
  • Photo of the living condition as supporting evidence

How to check DTSEN status and Desil ranking

After registering, or if you are already listed, check your status regularly:

1. Through the Cek Bansos app: choose the Cek Data menu.

2. Through the official website: cekbansos.kemensos.go.id.

3. Enter your NIK and full name, then view the result.

4. If it says Desil 1-4, the household meets the main requirement for consideration. If it shows Desil 5 or above, it does not yet meet the main criteria.

For many families, that number will decide whether they are even on the shortlist for aid. Simple as that.

What Desil 1-4 can mean for aid access

If a household is recorded in this group, it can apply for or receive benefits such as:

1. PKH (Family Hope Program): aid for families with toddlers, school-age children, elderly members, or people with disabilities.

2. BPNT (Non-Cash Food Assistance): support for buying rice, eggs, cooking oil, and other basic needs.

3. PBI-JKN: the BPJS Health premium is paid by the government, which means free treatment at public facilities.

4. Emergency aid in case of natural disasters or other urgent conditions.

That makes DTSEN more than a database. For low-income households, it is the gatekeeper to several key social protections.

What residents should pay attention to

  1. Registration does not mean automatic aid approval. It only places the data in the candidate pool.
  2. Do not trust anyone who claims they can insert your data for a fee.
  3. Data will be updated regularly, so make sure your population records stay accurate.
  4. If any data changes, report it to the village office right away so your name is not removed from the list.

The practical message is clear: keep your records clean, keep them current, and check them often.

Common questions about DTSEN

Q: Is DTSEN the same as DTKS?

A: No. DTSEN replaces DTKS and is more complete because it is integrated with national population and economic data.

Q: How long does registration verification take?

A: Usually 7-14 working days, depending on how busy the verification queue is.

Q: If someone is already in Desil 1-4, will they definitely get aid?

A: Not always. Final selection also depends on budget quotas and local priority needs.

Q: Can someone else register on my behalf?

A: It is better to register yourself or with a family member. Do not hand over original documents to a third party for data safety.

What comes next will depend on how quickly families update their records and how consistently local offices sync data with the new system.
