JAKARTA, JOURNALARTA.COM – Tecno Camon Slim officially launched globally on Monday, June 22, 2026, bringing a 6.39mm-thin body that still packs a 5,600mAh battery. It is Tecno’s latest move to expand its slim lineup after the Spark Slim and Pova Slim.
For Indonesia, the news is mixed. The phone is confirmed for a staggered rollout to many countries, but Tecno has not announced an official launch date or price for the Indonesian market yet.
Tecno Camon Slim: thin, yet IP69 water resistance
Its dimensions are 162.8 x 77.7 x 6.39mm. Tecno claims this is one of the thinnest phones that still carries a 5,600mAh battery. The device uses a 3D curved unibody design.
There are five color options: New Mondrian, Prism Black, Jungle Green, Van Gogh Blue, and Burgundy Red. The New Mondrian variant stands out. It uses a photochromic layer. Under UV light, the color shifts into yellow, green, and cyan blocks.
What is rare on a body this slim: IP69 and IP68 certification at the same time. That means it resists dust and high-pressure water spray. Thin phones usually feel fragile. Tecno is trying to overturn that idea.
The camera module also gets a distinctive touch. Tecno adds a mini LED panel with 354 lights. It offers 55 lighting patterns for notifications, incoming calls, charging, and gaming. Users can even create blinking-eye or smiling animations.
144Hz display and Helio G200 power
The display measures 6.78 inches and uses AMOLED with 1.5K resolution (1224 x 2720 pixels) and a 144Hz refresh rate. Pixel density is around 440 ppi, with a punch-hole design. The mix of a large screen and slim body should feel comfortable for watching videos and scrolling social media all day.
Inside, it runs on the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate. The chipset is an update from the Helio G99, focusing on efficiency and mid-range gaming. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage, plus virtual RAM expansion up to 24GB. The phone ships with Android 16 and HiOS 16.2.
As for performance, its Geekbench scores were listed at 997 single-core and 2,950 multi-core. Not flagship territory. Still enough for daily use and playing Mobile Legends on high settings at 60fps.
Single 50MP Sony Lytia camera
Tecno took a minimalist approach to the camera setup. On the back, there is only one 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main sensor with a 1/2-inch size, paired with a flicker sensor. There is no ultrawide lens. The front camera is 32MP.
The concept is called a “FlashSnap phone.” It relies on AI for stable night shots. That may appeal to users who feel a single high-quality main camera is enough.
5,600mAh battery, 60W fast charging
The 5,600mAh battery is claimed to last up to five years of use. Charging uses Ultra Charge 60W, with the U600TSA 60W adapter appearing in FCC documents.
The rest of the feature set is fairly complete: dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, NFC, IR blaster, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Price and Indonesia availability
The global price has not been officially announced. A rumor in India suggested a price of around Rp4 million (about โน22,999), but its status remains “Coming Soon.” For Indonesia, Tecno says it will roll out the launch to multiple markets and will follow up with local pricing information.
There is still no official date or price from Tecno Indonesia. We will update this story once the information is released.
