XRP: Prediction Puts Price at $2 by End of 2030
Could reach $2 by the end of 2030 under a forecast that assumes 20% annual growth. The prediction contrasts with higher targets often discussed by crypto bulls…

Dominic Basulto predicts XRP will reach $2 by the end of 2030, a forecast that depends on the token finding new uses and a supportive regulatory environment. The target is far below the $10, $100 or $1,000 figures that some crypto bulls have discussed.
XRP was trading for just over $1 in the source’s account, while its highest price in more than a decade of trading was $3.84. Basulto’s projection calls for a more modest rise than the ambitious targets often attached to the cryptocurrency.
The forecast rests on a 20% compound annual growth rate over the next four years. At that pace, XRP would double in value to $2 by the end of 2030, according to Basulto.
That is a demanding path. XRP would need to grow at more than 40% annually to move from $1 to $4 over the same period, the article says. Bitcoin delivered a 37% compound annual growth rate over the past decade, while Ethereum returned 23% over that span.
What could drive XRP toward $2?
Basulto points to new use cases for the XRP token as a central condition. XRP is primarily used as a bridge currency for cross-border transactions, and one possible expansion is real-world asset tokenization on the XRP blockchain ledger.
That potential remains contingent on adoption. Finding additional uses could support demand for the token, but the forecast does not treat a higher price as assured.
Regulation is another factor. The crypto environment would need to remain supportive, while new legislation would need to make it easier for financial institutions and banks to adopt blockchain-based payment technology.
The Clarity Act appeared likely to pass this year, but it fizzled in the Senate in September. That setback leaves the legislative catalyst described in the forecast unresolved.
Two hurdles remain.
If new use cases emerge and regulation supports wider institutional adoption, XRP could break out, Basulto argues. Without those conditions, the $2 target is not presented as a guaranteed outcome; the prediction itself is framed as a more restrained expectation than the much higher targets circulating among crypto bulls.
The historical prices in the account also show the gap between past peaks and the forecast. XRP reached $3.65 last summer, then fell back; earlier in 2025 it touched $3.40 before giving up those gains. Its reported all-time high remains $3.84.
Basulto’s forecast is therefore not a call for XRP to reclaim $4. It places the token at $2 by the end of 2030, assuming 20% annual growth over the next four years.
