Which Areas Are Under Warning?
In Sumatra, six provinces are under watch: Aceh, North Sumatra, Bengkulu, Jambi, Riau, and West Sumatra. All are at risk of moderate to heavy rain throughout the day.
Bali is the only area in the Java-Bali cluster under warning. Conditions there are more severe than in other areas because strong winds are also expected. West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta Special Region, and East Java are not on the warning list for June 23, as weather is forecast to be cloudy to light rain.
In Kalimantan, three provinces are on alert: West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, and East Kalimantan. South Kalimantan and North Kalimantan are not included in today's warning. Coastal residents in Kalimantan are still advised to watch for high waves.
Sulawesi has three affected provinces. Central Sulawesi and Gorontalo are under a watch for moderate to heavy rain. South Sulawesi faces a more complex situation, with heavy rain and strong winds. North Sulawesi and Southeast Sulawesi are not included in the warning.
West Papua is the only province in the Papua cluster under watch for moderate to heavy rain. Highland Papua, South Papua, and Central Papua have no special warning today.

Stay away from large trees and billboards when strong winds are blowing. Prepare emergency supplies if your home is in a disaster-prone zone.
