The Camon Slim measures 162.8 x 77.7 x 6.39mm and uses a 3D curved unibody design. Tecno says the handset is among the thinnest phones in its class while still carrying a 5,600mAh battery, a combination that usually forces trade-offs in design or endurance.
That balance is one of the phone’s main selling points. Thin phones often feel fragile. Tecno is trying to challenge that assumption.
The company also gives the Camon Slim a rare durability edge. It carries both IP69 and IP68 ratings, which means the phone is built to resist dust and can handle high-pressure water exposure. That matters for users who want a slim device without treating it like a glass ornament.
Color options include New Mondrian, Prism Black, Jungle Green, Van Gogh Blue, and Burgundy Red. The New Mondrian model is the most unusual of the group. It uses a photochromic layer that shifts into yellow, green, and cyan blocks under UV light.
On the back, Tecno has added a mini LED panel with 354 lights and 55 lighting patterns. It can flash for notifications, calls, charging, and gaming. Users can even set blinking-eye or smiling animations.
Large AMOLED screen and Helio G200 chip
The Camon Slim comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, 1.5K resolution at 1224 x 2720 pixels, and a 144Hz refresh rate. Tecno says the panel delivers about 440 ppi, and the punch-hole layout keeps the front clean. It is a big screen on a very thin frame. That contrast is hard to miss.
Inside, the phone runs on the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate, a chip positioned as an efficiency-focused update over the Helio G99. Tecno pairs it with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage, plus virtual RAM expansion up to 24GB. The device ships with Android 16 and HiOS 16.2.
Benchmarks listed for the Camon Slim show Geekbench scores of 997 in single-core and 2,950 in multi-core tests. That puts it well below flagship territory, but still squarely in the range for everyday apps, social media, and mid-range gaming.
Why the phone matters to buyers
For buyers, the real question is whether Tecno can make slim phones feel practical instead of fragile. The Camon Slim tries to answer that with a big battery, fast 60W charging, and high water resistance in a frame that would normally suggest compromise.
That matters in markets like Indonesia, where users often want long battery life, sturdy build quality, and fast charging in one device. A slim handset usually sounds fashionable. The 5,600mAh battery is one of the biggest numbers on the sheet. Tecno claims it can last up to five years of use, though that kind of battery-life claim usually depends on charging habits and daily load. Charging tops out at 60W through Tecno’s Ultra Charge system, and the U600TSA 60W adapter has appeared in FCC documents.
Other features round out the package: dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, NFC, an IR blaster, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Nothing flashy there. Just the sort of extras that keep a mid-range phone competitive.
Price and Indonesia launch status
Tecno has not announced the global price yet. A rumor from India pointed to around Rp4 million, or roughly ₹22,999, but Tecno has not confirmed that figure and the device remains marked “Coming Soon” in some markets.
For Indonesia, the company says pricing and local availability will follow later. That leaves buyers waiting on one key detail: whether the Camon Slim lands as a style-first device, or a genuinely strong mid-range option with enough battery and durability to justify the slim frame.
