JAKARTA, JOURNALARTA.COM – Used iPhone 17 prices in Indonesia fell sharply by the end of June 2026. The regular 256GB model can now be found in the Rp15.5 million range, well below iBox’s new-unit price of Rp17.4 million.

The figures were compiled from Tokopedia, OLX, and Qoo10 on June 24-27, 2026. The price is only a market reference and remains open to negotiation. Physical condition, battery health, box completeness, and warranty status still shape the final number.

Used iPhone 17 Prices in June 2026

Here are the market ranges for all iPhone 17 variants based on monitoring at the end of June 2026:

Variant 256GB 512GB 1TB 2TB
iPhone 17 Regular Rp15.5-16.5 million Rp18.5-19.5 million
iPhone 17 Air Rp16.4 million Rp16.4 million Rp16.4 million
iPhone 17 Pro Rp21.5-22.2 million Rp25.5-26.2 million Rp28.5-29.2 million
iPhone 17 Pro Max Rp22.5-23.2 million Rp27.5-28.2 million Rp32.5-33.2 million Rp40 million

The average market price for an Inter unit iPhone 17 stands at around Rp17.6 million. A like-new 256GB iBox used unit is priced at around Rp16 million.

Official iBox vs Inter Unit: Price Gap and Risks

A new official iBox unit is priced at Rp17.9 million for the 256GB model. A used like-new iBox unit drops to Rp16 million. The advantage is clear: official TAM/Digimap warranty, safer network access, and customs duties already settled.

Inter or BC units are usually Rp1-2 million cheaper. An Inter 256GB iPhone 17 is circulating around Rp15.6 million, while the Inter 256GB Pro Max is around Rp24.5 million. But the risks are real. The IMEI may not be registered with Customs, the signal can be blocked, and there is no official warranty.

The striking part: the gap between a new and used iPhone 17 256GB is only about Rp1 million. For the 512GB model, the difference is even below Rp600,000. That makes the buy-new-or-used decision much tougher.

Why Used Prices Differ So Much Between Sellers

Six main factors move the price. Physical condition is the most obvious one. A scratched unit and a clean one can differ by Rp500,000 to Rp1 million.

Battery health also matters. BH 100% versus 85% can differ by about Rp500,000, and users can check it directly in Settings > Battery.

A full original box and cable can add Rp300,000-Rp500,000 compared with a bare unit. Remaining official warranty, for example until April 2027, also pushes prices higher. Storage capacity has the biggest impact. Jumping from 256GB to 512GB can mean a difference of Rp3-4 million.

One detail many buyers miss is iCloud status. An ex-Inter unit that once had signal issues may look fine on the outside but still fail in daily use.

6 Tips for Buying a Used iPhone 17 Without Getting Burned

First, check the IMEI. Dial *#06# and verify the number on the official Customs website (beacukai.go.id). If the Inter unit’s IMEI is not registered, walk away.

Second, ask the seller to perform a factory reset on the spot. If the phone then asks for the previous Apple ID, the iCloud account is still locked. Skip it.

Third, test True Tone and Face ID. A screen that has been replaced often loses True Tone, and Face ID can fail. Neither is easy to fix casually.

Fourth, test the camera and speaker immediately. The iPhone 17 Pro Max has the strongest camera system in the lineup, so a faulty lens or sensor would be a costly miss.

Fifth, do the transaction in a busy public place. Ask for the iBox receipt if available. Sixth, and this matters, be suspicious of prices that look too cheap. A Pro Max 256GB under Rp20 million is almost certainly refurbished or rebuilt.

Buy New or Used? Here Is the Math

With the price gap between new and used units getting thinner in June 2026, the answer depends on your budget and risk tolerance.

If your budget is tight but you want peace of mind, add a little more and take the new iBox unit at Rp17.4 million. A one-year official warranty is far safer than a used unit with no guarantee.

If you want to save Rp1-2 million and do not mind a little homework, a used like-new iBox 256GB at Rp16 million with at least 95% battery health makes sense. Just make sure every check above is done before the money changes hands.

One exception stands out: the Pro Max 2TB model. The new price is far beyond most buyers, so a used unit around Rp40 million is the only realistic option for now.
