Bangka Tengah Receives Land Certificate for Integrated National School

KOBA — The Integrated National School project in Bangka Tengah now has a clear legal footing. That matters for residents, because the regency government can move ahead with construction without the risk of land disputes slowing the work down.

The Bangka Tengah Regency Government received the land certificate from the National Land Agency, or BPN, in Koba. The document removes one of the biggest obstacles in public projects: uncertified land that can stall budgets, delay tenders, or trigger legal challenges later.

It is a small piece of paper. But it changes a lot.

Legal certainty before the first shovel

Bangka Tengah Regent Algafry Rahman said legal certainty over regional assets is a must before heavy equipment enters the site. He made the statement after receiving the certificate from Gunanto, head of the Bangka Tengah Land Office, in Koba.

“We hope all regional government assets can be certified soon so they have clear legal force,” Algafry said at the Bangka Tengah Land Office.

According to Algafry, asset certification is a continuing step to protect government property. Without official documents, public money can get tied up in legal problems, especially when land ownership overlaps with other claims.

Gunanto said the Bangka Tengah Land Office is committed to speeding up certification for public facilities. The process, he said, follows a special mechanism so strategic projects do not get stuck in administrative delays. Close coordination with local agencies helped keep the paperwork moving.

What the Integrated National School will offer

The certified land will be used entirely for the construction of the Integrated National School, a project the local government sees as a model for modern education in Bangka Tengah. Officials say the school will strengthen education services from elementary through high school in one integrated location.

The plan goes beyond a regular school building. The local government has prepared a concept for a modern learning center with several key facilities:

• Fully equipped science laboratories for physics, chemistry, and biology practice.
• Digital classrooms with fast internet access and interactive whiteboards.
• Integrated sports facilities to support students’ non-academic achievements.
• A character-building curriculum tailored to future industry needs.

The project also answers a long-standing gap between school facilities in the town center and those in surrounding areas. Children in and around Koba will no longer need to travel far to reach a school with national-standard facilities.

Funding can now move faster

With the land now officially certified, the Bangka Tengah government can move forward with construction funding from the central government. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology had previously required the land to be clean and clear before any budget could be released.

Planning work and building design are now scheduled to enter the finalization stage this month. That keeps the project on track for the next administrative steps.

“With this land certainty, the planning and physical construction of the SNT is expected to start soon in line with the central government’s target,” Algafry said.

Algafry also praised the speed of the local BPN office in prioritizing certification for public land. He said cooperation between agencies has become the main factor in accelerating infrastructure development in the region.

The Bangka Tengah Public Works and Spatial Planning Office has started preparing tender documents for the physical project. Officials say strict monitoring will begin from the contractor registration stage to keep the process transparent and prevent corruption.

Going forward, the regency government wants every public infrastructure project to secure land certificates before tendering starts.
