JAKARTA, JOURNALARTA.COMPertamina fuel prices as of June 22, 2026 have not changed from the last adjustment on June 1, 2026. Pertalite remains Rp10,000 per liter, while subsidized Biosolar stays at Rp6,800 per liter nationwide.

What moved were the nonsubsidized fuels. Dexlite and Pertamina Dex fell sharply, while Pertamax Turbo rose by Rp850 per liter compared with the previous month. For logistics operators and diesel vehicle users, the lower nonsubsidized diesel prices are noticeable.

Why prices differ by region

Pertamina reviews nonsubsidized fuel prices on the first day of each month, using two main indicators: global crude oil prices and the rupiah exchange rate. In May 2026, Brent was recorded at US$103.71 per barrel and WTI at US$98.42 per barrel.

But the pump price is not always the same across regions. Three factors drive the gap: each local governmentโ€™s Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBBKB), distribution costs, and infrastructure availability. Kalimantan remains the most expensive because of that combination. The difference between Pertamax in Java and Kalimantan can reach Rp4,700 per liter.

Regional breakdown

In Java, which covers Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, and East Java, Pertamax is priced at Rp12,300 per liter. Pertamax Green 95 is available only in this region at Rp12,900 per liter. Dexlite falls to Rp23,000 per liter, while Pertamina Dex is Rp24,800 per liter.

Bali and Nusa Tenggara are slightly cheaper for Pertamax, at Rp12,200 per liter. Pertamax Turbo matches Java at Rp20,750 per liter.

Sumatra is not uniform. In North Sumatra, South Sumatra, and Lampung, Pertamax is Rp12,500 per liter and Turbo is Rp21,200 per liter. West Sumatra, Riau, and Riau Islands are pricier, with Pertamax at Rp12,800 per liter and Turbo at Rp21,650 per liter.

Kalimantan is the heaviest on the wallet. In West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, and East Kalimantan, Pertamax is Rp16,650 per liter and Pertamina Dex Rp25,350 per liter. South Kalimantan and North Kalimantan are the highest, with Pertamax at Rp17,000 per liter and Pertamina Dex at Rp25,900 per liter.

Dex Series down, Turbo up

The drop in Dexlite and Pertamina Dex by around Rp3,000-Rp3,100 per liter compared with May 2026 is a relief for logistics and freight transport. Pertamina says the adjustment reflects a change in the cost structure of nonsubsidized diesel as global oil prices move.

By contrast, Pertamax Turbo rose by Rp850 per liter, tracking high-octane gasoline prices in the global market, which have been pushed up since the first quarter of 2026.

Pertamina has kept Pertalite and Biosolar unchanged because both fall under the government subsidy scheme. Pricing for the two products is fully in the hands of the government, not the company.

For real-time prices based on location, Pertamina advises users to check the MyPertamina app or ask directly at the nearest SPBU. Prices can differ slightly from one station to another depending on administrative area and local PBBKB policy.

The next nonsubsidized fuel price update is scheduled for July 1, 2026.
