JAKARTA — Pertamina fuel prices on June 22, 2026: Pertalite Rp10,000 and subsidized Biosolar Rp6,800 stayed unchanged nationwide after the company’s latest monthly adjustment, while a handful of nonsubsidized fuels moved by region.
The biggest shifts came in the diesel line. Dexlite and Pertamina Dex fell sharply from the previous month, while Pertamax Turbo climbed by Rp850 per liter. How Pertamina sets fuel prices
Pertamina reviews nonsubsidized fuel prices on the first day of each month. The company uses two main references: global crude oil prices and the rupiah exchange rate.
In May 2026, Brent crude was recorded at US$103.71 per barrel and West Texas Intermediate at US$98.42 per barrel, according to the company’s pricing basis. Those market inputs help explain why some fuels moved up even as others eased. The subsidy-backed fuels, however, stayed under government control.
Pertalite and Biosolar did not change because both remain part of the state subsidy scheme. Their prices are set by the government, not by the commercial pricing formula used for nonsubsidized products.
Regional fuel prices remain uneven
Pump prices are not identical across Indonesia. Local taxes, distribution costs, and infrastructure access all shape what motorists pay at the station. Pertamina said the Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax, or PBBKB, is one of the key reasons regional prices can diverge.
Kalimantan remains the most expensive area in the latest pricing grid. That reflects higher logistics costs and local tax differences. In some cases, the gap between Java and Kalimantan is large enough to be felt immediately by households and transport businesses.

What drivers pay by region
In Java, which includes Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, and East Java, Pertamax is priced at Rp12,300 per liter. Pertamax Green 95 is sold only in this region at Rp12,900 per liter. Dexlite stands at Rp23,000 per liter, while Pertamina Dex is Rp24,800 per liter.
Bali and Nusa Tenggara are slightly cheaper for Pertamax at Rp12,200 per liter, while Pertamax Turbo sits at Rp20,750 per liter, the same as Java. That difference may look small on paper. Over a month of regular use, it adds up.
Sumatra is more fragmented. In North Sumatra, South Sumatra, and Lampung, Pertamax is Rp12,500 per liter and Pertamax Turbo is Rp21,200. West Sumatra, Riau, and Riau Islands are pricier, with Pertamax at Rp12,800 and Turbo at Rp21,650.
Kalimantan carries the heaviest bill. In West, Central, and East Kalimantan, Pertamax reaches Rp16,650 per liter and Pertamina Dex Rp25,350. South and North Kalimantan are the highest at Rp17,000 for Pertamax and Rp25,900 for Pertamina Dex.
Why the diesel cut matters
The lower price on Dexlite and Pertamina Dex gives some breathing room to logistics firms, intercity bus operators, and private owners of diesel vehicles. A drop of around Rp3,000 to Rp3,100 per liter is not trivial. For a fleet burning hundreds of liters a day, it can trim fuel expenses enough to matter on the balance sheet.
At the same time, the rise in Pertamax Turbo signals that premium gasoline users are still exposed to global price swings. Pertamina said the move follows the cost structure of nonsubsidized fuel as international oil prices stayed elevated in the first quarter of 2026.
For motorists checking prices on the road, Pertamina points users to the MyPertamina app or the nearest gas station. The company also warned that prices can differ slightly from one SPBU to another, depending on administrative area and local PBBKB rules.
The next nonsubsidized fuel price update is scheduled for July 1, 2026, and traders in transport, logistics, and retail fuel distribution will be watching whether the diesel relief lasts through the next monthly review.
